Underwood has made fitness her top priority and now she is in the best shape of her life. To keep things interesting, Carrie does a variety of workouts but she likes to focus on strength building.

"I want to be stronger. If I feel good in my clothes, and I'm starting to see some muscles, it just makes me want to keep going. I enjoy how I feel when running up a flight of stairs or picking up my kids or carrying things is easy. I like seeing muscles and feeling progress, so I'm always looking to lift more or do more reps," Carries shared via Shape.

According to Carrie, it's important for her to listen to what her body needs and she sometimes adjusts her workout plan depending on the season. During winter, she typically lifts more to burn holiday calories and build muscle. In summers, she gravitates more towards cardio runs outdoors.
