Alexandra Daddario is a warrior on and off the mat, embracing the constant changes in her life with love and acceptance. The actress shared her yoga ritual and affirmations, inspiring fans to follow her flow.

She Does Yoga Regularly

The blue-eyed beauty is an avid fan of yoga. She posted a clip of her "ritual" on Instagram, capturing her warrior pose and triangle stretch. Daddario penned an emotional caption, sharing an important life lesson she learned from her yoga teacher.

"In life, there is a constant process of falling in love and falling out of love. It’s all worthwhile, as long as love is involved," she wrote alongside her clip, pointing out the importance of being in love with your life, despite having minor setbacks.

She Makes Time To Play

Despite having a full plate of projects, Alexandra still manages to find time to play. Whether it's stopping by at a nearby park to goof around or running around with her dogs, she is always open to letting her inner child out to have fun.

She Uses Music To Relax

While many know her to be a talented actress, not a lot of people are aware that she is also a good pianist. Alexandra started taking piano lessons when she was nine years old and was even able to show off her skills in an episode of Parenthood, where she played Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

Her piano skills also came in handy while she was in quarantine. She used all the extra downtime to hone her skills and played the piano as a way to relax and relieve stress.

She Does Acupuncture Treatment

Acupuncture therapy is a regular part of Alexandra's self-care routine. She spoke to Vogue about why she loves the practice so much.

"Part of my skin-care routine involves the ritual of going to yoga and destressing and meditating and going to acupuncture, I think it’s really important to take care of yourself and learn to love yourself and love your skin the way it is and keep yourself balanced. I think that all of that ends up helping every aspect of your health, including your skin," Daddario explained.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the the traditional Chinese medicine practice is believed to balance the flow of energy, helping relieve discomfort, stimulate nerves, and promote healing.

She Has A Healthy Night Routine

Getting a good night's sleep is essential for the actress. To make sure she gets the rest that her body needs, Alexandra follows a healthy night routine to help her wind down at the end of the day.

According to her, she usually does yoga or meditation before bed to clear her mind. She also has a strict no-phone rule before bedtime. She makes sure to ditch her phone an hour before going to bed so she won't be distracted by calls, texts, or social media. "It takes discipline, but I have to allow myself to shut myself off," she told House Beautiful.
