Demi Lovato is looking sensational and fit for summer 2022 in new photos on their Instagram. The former Disney star showed off their muscles and curves in a skintight and strappy dress recently, going for a fun neon yellow/green shade as they channeled their inner girl power. The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer thrilled their 131 million+ followers, writing: "I got two wolves inside of me, but I decide which one to feed….."

They Opt For 'Functional' Training

Demi is an eating disorder survivor. Opening up to Women's Health, they stated: "Functional training is key for my body. My shows are really energetic so I try to train my body for the dancing and physical element of my performances – it’s tougher than it looks!" also adding: "I really look forward to active recovery like yoga or just walking. It keeps me focused on where I want to be with my body."

They Go For Squats

Squats are a firm celebrity favorite when it comes to booty toning. Lovato gets in plenty. "For my six-weekly training sessions I focus on lengthening and toning for the bottom half of my body: lots of squats and lunge variations to keep my glutes and hips strong and toned," they continued.

The Mayo Clinic states: "Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or an equal combination of moderate and vigorous aerobic activity. The guidelines suggest that you spread out this exercise during the course of a week."

They Try Not To Think About Food

Lovato has revealed that they began purging at 9, this beginning a long battle with bulimia. Opening up on their documentary, Simply Complicated, they stated:

"The less I have to think about food, the easier it is to go about having a normal life and I don’t want to let anybody down so when I do have moments when I slip up, I feel very ashamed.” The brunette beauty added: “I don’t want to give it the power that it controls my every thought but it’s something that I’m constantly thinking about."

They Love Cardio And MMA Training

Speaking to PopSugar UK, the "Confident" singer revealed quite the workout regimen, and it's varied stuff. Lovato told the outlet: "I work out six days a week and I take Sundays off," adding: "Several days I'll do an hour of cardio, and several days a week I'll do an hour of strength training. On top of that, some days during the week I'll work out for two hours where I'll do an hour of cardio and an hour of MMA, or I'll do an hour of strength training and an hour of MMA — but I don't do that every day!"

They Have A Self-Care Pyramid

Demi also outlined three elements to their "pyramid" of self-care, stating: "I believe [self-care] is like a pyramid. There are three things that you need to feel great. There's physical fitness, nutrition, and mental health."
