She Practices Self-Love

Nothing's better than some self-love and Jen makes sure to celebrate herself regularly. The Friends star showed off her fit body in a throwback photo posted on her Instagram account.

Dressed in a skimpy string bikini and denim mini skirt, Aniston was propped up on the bathroom counter, giving her reflection a kiss on the mirror.

"What a year. Reminder to give yourself a little love... and hang in there🙏🏼😘," she captioned the post.

She Wakes Up Early

She starts her day early even when she sleeps and ensures her days are productive. As she told Well and Good, her day starts at 4:30 am when she is working and jumpstarts her day with hot water and lemon.

"If I’m working, I’m up at 4:30, 5 a.m. If not, between 8 and 9 a.m., because I’m a late-night person—I putter. But usually when I wake up, I’ll make my standard cup of hot water with a slice of lemon in there."

She Meditates In The Morning

After her hot lemon drink, she always makes time for meditation in the morning.

"There’s usually some sort of meditation at that point. Usually 20 minutes, or 10 if I can’t get the full amount of time in. It’s a set [Transcendental Meditation mantra] that I do every time," she told Well and Good.

She Does Yoga Regularly

Jennifer works out at least five times a week and yoga is one of her favorite exercises. No wonder her body still looks incredible at 53! She started practicing yoga in 2005 and now, she has become quite the expert, often showing off her flexibility and core strength on Insta.

According to Mayo Clinic, practicing yoga greatly helps to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, it can also boost your mood and help improve your overall well-being.

She Does Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent fasting is one of the most popular diets right now and Jennifer swears by it. She follows the 16/8 method, where she consumes all the calories her body needs within an 8-hour period and then fasts the rest of the day.

"I do intermittent fasting, so there’s no food in the morning,” Aniston said during her interview with US Magazine. “I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours."

She Drinks Healthy Smoothies

While she may have cut the calories, Jen makes sure that her body still gets all the nutrients it needs by drinking healthy smoothies.

In one of her fitness posts, the blonde beauty shared her recipe for a healthy protein shake. The yummy drink was made up of milk, proteins, fruits, antioxidants, peptides, and vegetables. Jen shared that healthy smoothies work from the inside out and bring her a radiant "glow".

"There’s a collagen peptide that I’ve been loving—I’ve been seeing a difference! My nails are stronger and there’s a healthier... how do you explain it? A glow. It’s sort of that working from the inside-out thing," she told Well and Good.

She Lets Her Aggression Out Healthily

Jen has also found a way to get her aggression out in a healthy way - boxing. In an interview with InStyle, she shared her love for the sport.

"Boxing is a great way to get aggression out. You get a mental release of all this crap you're taking into your ears and eyes every day and have little fantasy moments imagining who you're punching."

She Keeps Her Skincare Routine Simple

She likes to keep her skincare routine simple and just washes her face, applies toner, and finishes with a serum. On Sundays, she treats her skin to a little more pampering.

"Sunday is my spa day,” the Aveeno spokesperson told Shape, “I usually do a little mini-facial time where I just give myself a good scrub, use a mask, and then the Aveeno Positively Radiant Hydrating Facial Moisturizer. I leave it on overnight and when I wake up I have that dewy, glowing, twinkling skin."

She Limits Her Time On Social Media

In 2019, Jen broke Instagram after finally joining the social platform and hitting one million followers in a record-breaking time of 5 hours and 16 minutes.

While she enjoys connecting with her fans, she limits her time on the app and uses a separate phone for when she needs to post.

"The thing I don’t want to do, which was always a hesitation for me in the beginning, is be consumed by it," Aniston told the Los Angeles Times. "I don’t want to become distracted like that. I already get distracted enough by other things in life."
