Jennifer Lopez In Bathing Suit Shares Lessons On 'True Love'

Jennifer Lopez got real and shared an important message about 'true love' to her Instagram followers. Sporting a tight-fitting swimsuit, the 52-year-old artist showcased unreleased photos from one of her greatest hits.

She Celebrates Herself

Lopez celebrated a decade of her smash hit Dance Again by sharing never before seen photos from its music video shoot. In the throwback pics, Jennifer wore a black bathing suit with fishnet stockings, showing off her incredible figure.

"Always remember…you will live…you will love and you will DANCE AGAIN. When I recorded this song I was in a place where I needed to remind myself of these things…and it became one of my favorite songs and more importantly my anthem to never give up hope on true love. 🤍," she captioned her Instagram post.

She Follows Her Heart

True to her song, Jen lived, loved, and danced again. Despite the critics, she followed her heart and rekindled her romance with ex-Ben Affleck, reviving the popular 'Bennifer' love team.

The two made it Instagram official on Jen's 52nd birthday. Dressed in a red pattern bikini with a printed cover-up, Lopez showed off her figure in a 4-pic carousel post. At the end of the post, Ben and Jen are seen locked in a sweet kiss.

She Starts The Day With An Affirmation

To make sure her day is steered in the right direction, Jen starts with positive affirmations. She detailed her morning routine to Glamour.

"I feed my mind first, my soul, with an affirmation,” she says. “Not looking at the phone yet, just setting myself up right for the day with the right intentions and the right thoughts…being positive. And then the next thing: skin care.”

She Has A Simple Skincare Regimen

After feeding her soul with positive thoughts, she proceeds to do her 4-step skincare regimen that takes less than 5 minutes to do.

Jen uses some of the products from her own beauty line JLoBeauty, making sure that her skin gets the hydration it needs.

"Putting on my serum as usual—morning and night. Vitamins for the face. I like to think of it like taking my vitamins first thing in the morning," Lopez shared her skincare routine on Instagram.

She Likes Intense Workouts

Jen enjoys intense workouts. According to her trainer David Kirsch, they like to mix up several kinds of exercises and she is always focused when grinding at the gym.

"We mix some cardio, plyometrics, full body, core and lower body into her workouts – they are very, very intense and she takes it very seriously, which is exciting for someone like me. Her workouts are fast paced. She’s very focused and high energy," Kirsch told Vogue.

She Rehearses Extra Hard

Lopez's work ethic reflects not just when she is working out, but also when she is preparing for a show. In an Instagram post, Jen shared that she rehearses anytime, anywhere. She is a perfectionist and always aims to give her audience a good show!

"We rehearse anytime, anywhere…I had to work in the recording studio that night, but had the video shoot the next day," she started. "People sometimes think I’m crazy but I wanted it to be perfect the next day for the video shoot!!"

She Embraces Her Curves

She is proud of her curves and doesn't mind showing them off. Her body positivity is inspiring other women to embrace their natural bodies too.

"I think the idea of being curvaceous, being a little bit bigger than normal or smaller than normal, all of that is okay," she shared via Heat magazine, "As long as it’s healthy. I embrace who I am. I feel sexy, I feel youthful, I feel pretty!"

She Doesn't Eat Processed Foods

Diet is a key part of Jen's healthy lifestyle. According to one of her trainers, Jen's diet is mainly organic, with a balance of high-quality proteins and nutrient-dense food.

"Everything is fresh," Tracy Anderson told People. "There’s nothing processed – just [protein powder] in a shake if we do a protein shake one day."

According to Mayo Clinic, organic foods are safer and more nutritious than processed foods. Aside from having more antioxidants, they also have lower toxic metals and pesticide residue, making them a healthier choice.

She Always Protects Her Kids

Being in the spotlight can be a challenge, the mom of two admitted. But, she always does her best to protect her kids, making sure she is being respectful to them whenever she is talking about her private life.

"Social media is so different now," Lopez said in an interview with Today. "It’s not just tabloid magazines, like if you happen to pick it up. Everybody can see everything you say all the time, so it’s just about being respectful to them, too, and loving them and protecting them, and protecting our family and our love, that’s all."
