Lea Bouard showed off her daredevil moves in a crazy backflip video. The Olympic skier shared a clip of herself on Instagram jumping on a cliff and into the water with perfect form.

She Likes Extreme Adventures

The 25-year-old skier is a daredevil on and off the slopes. One of her favorite stunts to do is her crazy backflip. Lea shared in an Instagram post that she always finishes her sports sessions with a backflip to cool off when she was living in Spain.

"Almost my everyday activity, cliff jumping after a sport session because this place is 3 minutes from my home in mallorca ! 🌊," she captioned the video, which captured her doing a perfect backflip while in a bikini.

She Knows When To Slow Down

While she may be a thrill-seeker, she also knows when to slow down. When she is not busy training for a competition, Lea likes to spend her time vacationing at the beach. Being a professional skier can be pretty stressful because of their demanding lifestyle, so it's essential to have rest during the offseason.

Spending quality time around nature is good for the health, says Mental Health. Getting fresh air outdoors can significantly improve your mood and lower stress levels.

She Takes Care Of Her Mental Health

When Lea's grandfather passed away last year, she had to take a much-needed break and got back to her fitness routine gradually, respecting the space she needed to take care of her mental health.

"The performance gained by an athlete is not only physical, but a large part of our success is played out mentally," she said in her post, adding "sometimes it's better to take a break to get up even stronger."

She Practices Yoga

Most of the time, Lea is off on a grand adventure, scaling mountains, backflipping on the snow, or surfing the waves. To keep her body fit for all her thrilling escapades, she regularly works out and trains.

One of her go-to exercises is yoga. The skier practices yoga regularly and has performed cool poses for her followers, from simple stretches to jaw-dropping inversions that showcase her core strength and balancing skills.

Aside from working the muscles and flexibility, yoga can also help quiet the mind, which the athlete is grateful for. The ancient practice has helped her body and soul become more balanced.

She Goes Hiking All The Time

Lea loves exploring new places and she spends a lot of time hiking. Her Instagram feed is filled with beautiful photos of her adventures with her boyfriend or her friends. She told her followers a little advice about how to reach great heights - just keep climbing!

"There's no secret on how to attain a greater height, just keep climbing the ladder, don't look at the dreadful distance, lock up that negative thoughts today, and fulfill your dreams," she wrote on Instagram.
