She Eats Toast And Butter

Jessie isn't afraid to include a little saturated fat in her diet. She told Women's Health: "I'll have some bread from a local bread company. I get fresh honey wheat bread every week," adding: "That's honestly what we all eat for breakfast: Toast and butter. We have salted butter that we leave out, so it's really nice and mushy when we're spread it on on our bread. We love our toast in the morning."

She Loves Trader Joe's

The Just Feed Me author also revealed a love of Trader Joe's frozen meals, ones that come in handy when feeding three kids. "They are so good if I don't have time to make myself lunch," she continued. "I get the Indian curry or butter chicken and rice meals, and they are so delicious and filling. I have stashes of them in the freezer in the garage. I never want to run out."

The Mayo Clinic offers a healthy and fun freezer option, stating: "A healthier option to premade frozen pizza is making pizza dough when you have time and freezing it. Homemade pizza dough tastes better and has no preservatives. You can add healthy toppings, such as low-fat cheese, vegetables and olive oil- or pesto-based sauces."

She Works Out Hard

Decker is always in the gym. The star told her social media followers: "The top of this year I decided to really step it up in the gym! Build more muscle, get my core in order and get stronger!" In her 2021 post, she added: "I know my core will probably never be as strong as it used to be but damn it I'm gonna try! I have goals and I'm not stopping until I'm there."

She Goes South Beach Diet

Jessie has fronted weight loss brand South Beach Diet, also dropping 25 pounds with it.

"I just felt like, 'Okay, if Mom did it and we're the same, this will work for me. And I think what I liked about it was that it was heavy protein—we all know I love my protein—low carb and I just felt like I was already living like that," she said in 2015. "I felt like I saw results instantly. I got on the program and I worked out and it was just like, okay."

She Allows Herself Dessert

The cookbook queen does allow sweet treats. She also told Women's Health: "I gotta have dessert one way or the other," adding: "I'll have a handful of chocolate-covered almonds or make chocolate chip cookies. I always want dessert, and the kids always want ice cream, so we get the gallons of ice cream from a local place. I'm not a big ice cream girl, so I don't really join in with them on that one."
