She Loves Group Workouts

Speaking to InStyle, the mom of one revealed she's less into solo workouts. “I'm one of those people who, if I go to the gym by myself, there's a 50/50 chance of me actually working out and really pushing myself, so the class environment works really, really well for me,” Emily said.

“I am also someone who, even in a class, will get chatty and [distracted]. I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone,” she added.

She Values Sleep After Exercising

The jet-setter also noted getting her sleep. "For me, the way I sleep afterwards is one of the main reasons to work out. I am always on my phone working and I think that's affected my sleep. I'm also really light-sensitive," she continued. "When I work out, it's better than taking a melatonin. Because my body has worked hard, my brain finally rests and I think that is so valuable in this day and age — not to sound like an old geezer, but truly I feel that way."

She Thinks Balance Is Key

The Versace ambassador also took a broader approach, adding:" I'm all about the balance of that stuff and I really, as cheesy as this sounds, truly believe that mental and physical are really aligned, so taking care of yourself physically will help you mentally and vice versa." The Mayo Clinic states:

"Indeed, stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. Being able to recognize common stress symptoms can help you manage them. Stress that's left unchecked can contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes."

She Loves Salad For Lunch

Emily kicks off the day with a local bakery pastry and coffee. She's also revealed: "Lunch is usually a salad or a sandwich," adding:

"If I'm on set, I'll have catering, but I'm well behaved with that stuff. It's easy to go crazy—they know how to feed you."

She Loves Italian And Sushi

Detailing her fave dining spots and what she gets, the Vogue favorite continued:

"Dinner is my time to be social and catch up with people. I love this Italian restaurant downtown called Bestia. It's kind of fun, and they have good cocktails and wine. If I'm trying to be a little healthier, there's Café Gratitude downtown. There's amazing sushi at this tiny place called Mako in Little Tokyo."
