Rita Ora is sizzling in a black swim look from the beach and covered in mud as she delivers a few vital health tips. The British singer is a bikini favorite on her Instagram, although this photo was slightly unusual as the blonde flaunted her fit figure while largely coated in natural dark mud. Addressing her army of followers, the pop star said: "Stay hydrated, and exfoliate kids," also highlighting her toned abs and trim thighs.

She's Super Careful With Portions

For Rita, it isn't just what you eat. It's also how much you eat. "I watch what I eat but I just cut my portions in half. So if I want a burger I'll just cut it in half and eat half of it. That or I'll take the bread off and only eat the burger. Or if I want fries then I won't have a burger to go with them," she told Cosmopolitan.

The Mayo Clinic suggests visual cues, stating: "Many foods match up to everyday objects. For example, a medium pepper is about the size of a baseball and equals one vegetable serving. While not all foods match visual cues, this method can help you become better at gauging serving sizes and practicing portion control."

She Allows Herself Sugary Drinks

While smoothies are likely available on-tap for Rita, the singer does indulge in sugar-filled sodas. "One of my guilty pleasures is sugary fizzy drinks," she added. "The ones that kids have that come in different colours. Like, 'why are you drinking a green drink?!' I like to be healthy but I have what I want. I just don't eat all of it if the portion is too big."

She Loves Pilates And Yoga

Noting her favorite ways to stay in shape, Rita revealed: "I do toning exercises, pilates, yoga or a hike. If I run, I only run for about 10-15 minutes, if that. I'm really focused on being healthy rather than anything else." Experts at The Mayo Clinic advise: "Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or an equal combination of moderate and vigorous aerobic activity."

She Doesn't Focus On Being Thin

Speaking to Shape, the body-positive star noted:

"I'm not going to lie and say I was completely happy with my body before. I knew I could change a few things to improve my stamina, especially onstage. I didn't start working out to get skinnier—I started working out to feel better. And I think it's important for women to know that. Don't be obsessed with being thin. You just have to be fit, healthy, and strong."

She Listens To Her Body

Going for a more intuitive approach, Rita believes in balance, saying: "I used to be like, 'I'm not eating!' Eating isn't the problem, though. It's about what your body needs, and everyone's body is different."
