She Doesn't Focus On Dress Size

Wilson has confirmed that her weight loss wasn't about looks. "To me what the year of health was, was just being a healthier version," she has stated, per Yahoo Australia. "It wasn't about losing a set amount of weight, although I did put a goal originally of 75 kilos so I could have something tangible to work towards. But it's not about a number or a dress size, or anything like that.'It was just about being the healthiest version of me and I dedicated all of 2020 to doing that, and I'm proud of myself."

A Look Back At Kendall Jenner’s Dating History

Take a look back at the famous faces Kendall Jenner has dated!

She Eats Salmon And Chicken Breast

Revealing a higher-than-ideal calorie intake prior to shedding the weight, Rebel told People:

“Before I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry. So, I've really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn't used to eat a lot of meat. I eat fish, salmon, and chicken breast.” The Mayo Clinic states:

"Your weight is a balancing act, but the equation is simple: If you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight. And if you eat fewer calories and burn more calories through physical activity, you lose weight. In general, if you cut 500 to 1,000 calories a day from your typical diet, you'll lose about 1 pound (0.5 kilogram) a week."

She Cut Her Portions In Half

Rebel also revealed portion control, telling People: "I'm just trying to go for overall balance, overall healthy balance," adding: "I have this state of being, which is not my quote, but I go 'Nothing is forbidden.' We’ll be like, 'Should we get In-N-Out burger?' And I'm like, 'Nothing is forbidden.' I can go there, I just might eat half of what I used to eat before. You know? And I'll have a burger, and a few fries, and then you feel fine."

She Drinks Tons Of Water

Wilson has further revealed switching out treats for water. "Thanks for all the love so far on my 'Year of Health' journey—when I was reaching for the candies last night after dinner I thought to myself 'hmmmm...better not' and had a bottle of water instead," she told her social media followers.

She Thinks A Slip-Up Is Okay

The Australian actress doesn't go too hard on herself. “It doesn't mean every week is a healthy week,” she has said. "Some weeks are just write offs, and there’s nothing you can do about that.”
