She Gets Her Beauty Sleep

Emily might have access to all the lotions and potions in the world, but the model values her rest.

"For me, the way I sleep afterwards is one of the main reasons to work out. I am always on my phone working and I think that's affected my sleep. I'm also really light-sensitive. When I work out, it's better than taking a melatonin. Because my body has worked hard, my brain finally rests and I think that is so valuable in this day and age — not to sound like an old geezer, but truly I feel that way," she has stated.

She Eats Balanced

Emily is definitely into healthy eating, but she likewise features cheat foods like pizza on her Instagram. The Mayo Clinic states that a healthy diet should include "a variety of foods from the major food groups: fruits; vegetables; whole grains; low-fat dairy products and lean protein, including beans and other legumes, nuts and seeds; and healthy fats."

"Also talk with your doctor about your health risks. For example, your doctor may recommend that you reduce the salt in your diet if you have high blood pressure," the site adds.

She Values Basic Skincare

Noting a perk of quarantine as she opened up to Into The Gloss, the Versace ambassador stated: “In quarantine, I went crazy and ordered a bunch of skincare products,” adding: “One of the things I’ve learned about beauty: I just need the basics and for them to be really good. That was one of the ways that my skin freaked out, because I was overusing products.”

She Washes Her Face With Water

It's free, it's clean, and it works. Emily continued: "I don’t even use face wash—I clean my face with water. Then, I use a little bit of drugstore moisturizer, like Neutrogena, to take off my makeup. I put it on and rub off eye makeup with a tissue; it’s the fastest, easiest makeup remover." Emily is also an ambassador for haircare brand Kerastase.

She Opts For Group Workouts

Solo doesn't cut it for the runway favorite, who likes group workouts. "I'm one of those people who, if I go to the gym by myself, there's a 50/50 chance of me actually working out and really pushing myself, so the class environment works really, really well for me," she told In Style.

“I am also someone who, even in a class, will get chatty and [distracted]. I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone,” Emily also noted.
