Goldie Hawn Gets 'Physical' On Trampoline

Goldie Hawn, 76, is not letting age stop her from doing the things she loves. The veteran actress took to Instagram to share one of her favorite activities, which has been keeping her young and fit.

She Does Rebounding Exercises

Dancing has always been a go-to workout for the legendary actress. During quarantine season, she found a way to incorporate it into a trendy aerobic exercise - rebounding. Dancing to the tune of Dua Lipa's Physical, Goldie showcased her electrifying dance moves while bouncing on the trampoline.

Rebounding is a high-intensity but low-impact cardio option, which is great for those who want to go easy on their joints. Regular aerobic activity can help you live longer, per Mayo Clinic. Aside from increasing blood flow and working your muscles, the body also releases endorphins, which give you a sense of elevated happiness.

She Drinks Green Juice Every Day

Eating healthy is another crucial part of Goldie's wellness routine. She keeps her diet simple, doesn't overeat, and drinks her green juice, which is made up of kale, celery, parsley, and green pepper.

"I do a lot of juicing, I don't put a lot of food in my stomach and I don't mix my foods too much," Goldie shared to People. "So if I want to have like protein I'll just eat a bowl of lentils, I won't mix it with a bunch of stuff."

She Spends A Lot Of Time Outdoors

For Goldie and long-time partner Kurt Russell, the great outdoors is a playground. The Hollywood couple loves doing activities together. From biking to hiking, Goldie and Kurt are regularly adding adventures to their bucket list.

When asked about the secret to their long-lasting relationship, Goldie said in a CBS interview:

"There's no secret..." "Because it's a normal question. But there's two things, for me, anyway. And it's that you both wanna be together. I mean, you've gotta want to be together."

She Doesn't Stress About Parenting

All of their children have grown up to be wonderful adults, with families of their own. Goldie's parenting advice is not to stress too much and to lead by example.

"You can’t pass anything on to your children,” Hawn said to People. “The only thing you can do is be an example, a living example. No one, children don’t listen to the words, ever! They listen to what they see and what you do. That’s the key.”

She Is A Free Spirit

Forget about society's pressures and live life according to your own rules. Goldie is a big believer in "dancing through life" with abandonment and fearlessness. She shared her philosophy with The Guardian.

"When I talk about dancing through life, it really is how we move. It’s how we face today, how we walk into a room, how we pull ourselves up and feel that what we have inside of us is valuable and important," she said.

"If you can express yourself without being afraid of looking silly – dance like nobody’s watching, right? – I think that is a beautiful thing.”
