Danica Patrick is fit as ever. The 40-year-old former car racing driver looked absolutely fit as "a deep thinking hippie chick" on Instagram. The gorgeous, fit mama is considered the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel car racing.

She Enjoys Zen Moment

Danica seems to be enjoying a zen moment while looking absolutely fit as she referred to herself as a "deep thinking hippie chick." True to the hippie fashion, the former car racer rocked a red blouse and floral patterned pants. She struck a relaxing yoga pose while looking totally fit. She wore long blonde hair, which she decorated with a garland made of sunflowers. She finished off the look with a few gold necklaces and dark sunglasses, which she hung on her blouse.

She Is A Yogi

Danica is an avid yogi. According to USA Today, Since she retired from car race driving in 2017, she has had more time to devote to her yoga practice. Here are some of her favorite yoga poses to relax and have some Zen moments. The Simple Backward Bend, The Dancer Pose –which is done with a partner, but if you cannot find a partner, it's easy to do this pose using a wall for balance, the Reverse Namaste Arms, the Backbend Flow, Handstand, Seated Pigeon Pose, Open hips FTW and Modified Wheel.

She Has Mastered Yoga Poses

Although Danica, who has always been dedicated to her fitness, has found a way to incorporate yoga into her work routine. She often shares her yoga practices and other methods of staying fit on her Instagram page. These yoga poses are pretty hard to master, but Danica does it so well. One of such is the Side Crow, which is a lot harder than it looks as it requires not only strength but balance.

She Practices Mental Health

Danica is also taking the time to practice mental health and connect with Mother Nature, as she explains in one post, "Many thanks that this connection to the earth created this beautiful, powerful, and safe space." This podcast host loves to spend time outdoors. In one post, she combined her yoga practice with nature, but on the beach this time.

Although Danica is no longer involved in race car driving, she is still very much in the spotlight. The former NASCAR driver now owns a podcast named "Pretty Intense" and a vineyard, Somnium. She loves riding bikes with friends too. She has also added wakeboarding to her list of hobbies as she was seen learning the activity and finally seems like she has got the hang of it. Outsider shares that Danica also shows off her more traditional workouts on Instagram. In addition, she sprinkles in some cardio and circuit training to spread out her physical activities.
