She Is A Gym Junkie 

"I'm the fittest I've ever been, I start out absolutely dreading it, do an incredibly punishing workout and end up feeling a hundred percent better when I leave," Beckinsale once shared.

Fitness and staying in shape have always been Beckinsale's thing as she posted a picture on Instagram showing off her trim figure.

Body And Soul state that the actress spends hours in the gym with her celebrity trainer, Brad Siskins who she works out with five or six days a week and she has made it a commitment. Beckinsale's trainer, Brad Siskins described the actress as a strong person who rarely misses a workout.

She goes from circuit training with brutal cardio to yoga, squats, sit-ups, boxing, rowing, climbing machines, and other hardcore workouts. According to her, hardcore workouts have made a huge difference in her life and give her a lot of internal energy and the intense exercise helps her channel her energies rightly. The actress said she finds balance doing workouts that make her sweat.

She Eats The Right Food

 

The actress revealed she was a vegetarian but didn't have much energy so she was advised by her trainer to start eating chicken and fish which has really helped in building her energy but she avoids red meat. Cleveland Clinic also revealed that red meat and processed meat are not good for your health.

She also tries to stay clear of sugar and refined carbohydrates as they make her feel sluggish. Instead, she takes more protein and vegetables which suits her body nicely.

She Is Not A Fan Of Alcoholic Drinks

 

The screen goddess doesn't drink alcohol. Surprised right, but it is what it is. She revealed that alcoholic drinks make her easily intoxicated and so she tries to steer clear. According to Shape, Beckinsale said," I don't drink alcohol because I feel its effect very fast and I've never had an entire glass of alcoholic drink."

She Has A Strict Daily Routine

Beckinsale has a daily routine that helps her day become more productive. She wakes up, eats something, and goes straight to the gym. According to the actress, training in the morning has been a great way for her to adhere to her fitness routine and not make excuses or give in to factors that disrupt her workout plan.

She Takes Care Of Her Mental Health

 

One thing that keeps Beckinsale motivated for great performance is good mental health and it's no news that the brain controls the activities of the body so she doesn't joke about her mental health.

The 48-year- old is very connected to her body, so if she's going to experience stress, she does something physical to get rid of it.
