Four days later, The Royals star was back in a bikini on Instagram to remind fans to take good care of their skin this summer season. Showing off her insane figure in a yellow Elizabeth Hurley Beach set, she donned a straw sunhat and winked at the camera in a video captioned "Hat and SPF 😇." Not only serving lewks but also dispensing sage advice. We hear you, Liz!
According to the Mayo Clinic, sunscreen is a must whenever you leave home. Those with very fair skin that always burns easily and rarely tans should use a product with SPF 20 to 30, per the clinic's recommendations. Fair skin that tans minimally requires sunscreen with SPF 12-20, while light skin that burns moderately and tans gradually needs SPF 8-12. Likewise, people with a medium skin tone (burns minimally, always tans well) are advised to go for SPF 4-8, whereas those with dark skin that rarely burns and tans profusely can stick to SPF 2-4.
"For maximum sun protection, sunscreens should be applied uniformly and thickly to all exposed skin surfaces (including the lips, using lip sunscreen or lip balm)," states the clinic.
