They Are Fit And Fierce

Demi took to Instagram to share their punk-inspired red ensemble, delighting their fans and followers. Dressed in a plaid miniskirt styled with a red leather jacket, skeleton tee, and a black belt, Demi showed off their noticeably slimmer figure.

The singer also grew out their hairstyle and is now sporting a longer do' with blunt bangs.

They Are In A Good Place

The universe has been lining things up in their favor and they have been happy with their new lease on life. As they told Billboard, they have been grateful for their new journey.

"I’ve been newly sober and trying to come out of treatment, navigating my life today and what that looks like. And it’s been hard at times, but I’ve definitely put in the work, and I’ve been working towards a life in recovery again."

They Do Strength Training

When it comes to their fitness routine, Demi loves working on their muscle strength. They have said in a past interview with PopSugar that cardio and strength training are some of their go-to workouts.

"I work out six days a week and I take Sundays off," they said. "Several days I'll do an hour of cardio, and several days a week I'll do an hour of strength training."

Muscular fitness is an important element of a fitness training program, says Mayo Clinic. Strength training can help you lose weight, improve bone strength, and increase muscular fitness. Experts recommend doing strength training at least twice a week.

They Love Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is one of Demi's favorite sports. While they haven't been actively training because of recent Covid restrictions, it seems that they are planning to get back to the mat soon. Demi spoke about their love for the sport in The Joe Rogan Experience.

"What's really wild is when you surpass yourself. I never thought that I'd get a blue belt [the second of eight belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu]. I just never thought that I'd get a belt in anything. I'm a singer. Hard work pays off, and it's just really cool when you get to prove yourself wrong."

They Love Self-Care Moments

Working hard is important but self-care moments are what empowers them to be more confident. As they told Self, taking care of their body is a priority.

"Working out really empowers me. It makes me feel stronger. It makes me feel more confident. That, but also...doing things that will empower me, like going to therapy and doing things to really take care of myself. I have a hot tub, I get massages, too. Massages are probably my favorite. It’s important that your body rests and that it gets taken care of."
