She Takes Out Time For Holidays

Christina celebrated the fourth of July holidays in grand style as she took a dip in the pool while rocking a patriotic bathing suit. She rocked a gorgeous red, white and blue bathing suit with a plunging neckline that put her ample cleavage on display.

She paired the suit with red-rimmed sunglasses and matching red lipstick while showing off her luscious curves and toned ribs. In one Instagram snap, the Santo singer switched the red sunglasses for a pair of white ones while immersing her blonde tresses in the pool.

She Learned To Love Her Body

 

Christina is comfortable in her body. However, it's something the singer used to struggle with. Us Weekly reports that the Something's Got A Hold On Me singer opened up about her past relationship with her body and how she learned to appreciate her curves.

“Entering this business, I hated being super skinny. Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves,” she told Health magazine. “I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure.”

She Is Comfortable In Her Skin

 

However, as Christina got older, she learned to be more comfortable in her own skin. “As you age, you stop comparing yourself to other people and start appreciating your own body and owning it,” she shared. Rather than focus on her flaws, the Grammy winner decided to embrace herself in all its fullness.

“Accepting yourself is what beauty is really about,” she said. She believes that instead of wasting time thinking of other people's opinions about you, the focus should be on creating memories for one's self.

She Does Weight Training

When it comes to her workout and diet, Christina is on top of her game. For her workout routine, the former Voice coach does a little cardio warm-up before starting her workout. After which she switches to weight training, doing various exercises. A few exercises from the routine include backward lunges with biceps curls, triceps dips, and sit-ups.

According to Mayo Clinic, weight training can help you tone your muscles, improve your appearance and fight age-related muscle loss. It provides stress to the muscles that cause them to adapt and get stronger, similar to the way aerobic conditioning strengthens your heart. Weight training can be performed with free weights, such as barbells and dumbbells, or by using weight machines.

She Eats Healthy Foods

 

When it comes to her diet, Christina focuses on eating good and healthy foods like chicken, fish, veggies, sushi, etc. The Genie in a Bottle songstress consumes around 1600 calories a day and avoids foods like white rice, sugar, and white flour. Health Yogi reports that for breakfast, Christina would typically eat eggs, avocado toast, and fruits.

For lunch, she has chicken breast, brown rice, and sautéed veggies. For dinner, she goes for fish or sushi, veggies, salad, and some sweet potato once in a while. She also likes to snack on almonds or chia seeds. Some weeks, she follows a rainbow diet.
