Nastia Liukin In Bathing Suit Enjoys 'Summer Vibes'

Nastia Liukin is stunning in swimwear as she makes it a Hot Girl Summer. The 32-year-old has been layering on the bikini action for her Instagram followers, and one photo turned heads this summer. Posting for her 1.1 million fans, Nastia sizzled as she flaunted her toned figure and tiny waist while in a multi-tonal swimsuit, going banded in blue and adding in a stylish straw hat. Posing under blue skies, the blonde told fans: "Just some summer vibes."

She Eats Before Her Workouts

Nastia doesn't work out on empty. In 2019, she spoke to The Cut, revealing:

"I like to eat something very small beforehand, whether it’s a banana or a piece of fruit, and I have coffee. It was the same when I was in gymnastics. After my workout I’ll have a bigger breakfast, like an omelet with tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and maybe some chicken or something. Making sure to get enough protein in is extremely important for me to this day. It keeps you full longer."

She's Found Her Rhythm

After retiring in 2012 and aged only 22, Nastia revealed it was tough.

"I felt so lost for a good year. I gained probably 10 to 20 pounds, because when you stop doing something and just go cold turkey your body doesn’t even know what to do. I finally feel like I’ve found my rhythm again. It takes time to figure out what your body needs and what’s best for you both in nutrition and also fitness," she continued.

She'll Unwind With Self-Care

The sneaker designer and influencer knows how to treat herself. "Unwinding is extremely important for me. I feel like I’m always around so many people and I’m constantly talking and sharing my energy so I try to make time for myself, like doing a face mask. It’s so important for me to take care of my skin because you always just feel better that way," the blonde also revealed.

She Loves To Drink Milk

In 2022, Nastia revealed that she still fuels up with chocolate milk, something she did back in her pro gymnast days. Milk is one of the best sources of calcium around - The Mayo Clinic advises:

"Your body needs calcium to build and maintain strong bones. Your heart, muscles and nerves also need calcium to function properly. Some studies suggest that calcium, along with vitamin D, may have benefits beyond bone health: perhaps protecting against cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure. But evidence about such health benefits is not definitive."

She Values 'Me Time'

Despite being busy with her influencing, travels, and gigs that include fronting Pottery Barn, Nastia makes time for herself. She has stated: "I'm a firm believer in self care, and have started carving out 'me time' on my calendar when I feel burnout creeping in. If I can create and stick to a schedule for work, I felt I owed it to myself to do the same for me."
