And, more importantly, might we be getting a reboot?

She Believes In Healthy Living

Danica isn't out to crash or fad diet. "What I'm hoping is that people realize that this is a lifestyle," she told Good Morning America. "I want them to develop a good relationship with food and exercise to not be a reward or punishment but a way of life and something that makes you feel good and something that makes you a better you every single day."

She Thinks Good Food Is Medicine

Patrick, meanwhile, has stated: "You are creating your life day by day with your thoughts. Think positive things. Believe in yourself. Have great reasons for why you’re doing what you’re doing. Eat good food because food is medicine. You’re either adding to your well-being or reducing your well-being.”

And for Danica, that means a mindset that goes way back.

She Is Paleo For A Reason

Danica explains her Paleo mindset on her website, writing:

"Paleo is based on the idea that you only eat foods that were available to ancient man before the invention of agriculture. So no grains, no dairy, no beans or legumes, no added sugars or preservatives. Instead, you focus on naturally raised meats, vegetables, fruits, and nuts."

"My intention was to only do it for a week or two to reset my body with less sugar and more veggies. Well . . . I felt so good, and saw such amazing results, that I never quit," she adds.

She Makes Workouts Daily

Danica has revealed that she trains every single day. The Mayo Clinic advises:

"Get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or an equal combination of moderate and vigorous aerobic activity. The guidelines suggest that you spread out this exercise during the course of a week. To provide even greater health benefit and to assist with weight loss or maintaining weight loss, at least 300 minutes a week is recommended. But even small amounts of physical activity are helpful. Being active for short periods of time throughout the day can add up to provide health benefits."
