She Poses Like Marilyn

Sporting a red, vintage-style swimsuit and strappy heels, Ana posed like Marilyn for a Netflix promo poster of the upcoming biopic. In character for the movie, the actress was also sporting the iconic bombshell's signature blonde and curly locks. Ana nailed the look, impressing her fans and co-stars.

Ana shared the photo on her Instagram account, teasing her followers with the release date.

She Takes Her Roles Seriously

In an interview with LA Times, Ana shared how she prepared for the challenging role. Apart from looking like Marilyn, she also made great efforts to understand her character.

"To me, it was more important to understand where she was at emotionally every time, with every line, what was she thinking, what was she feeling, more than anything else,” she explained. “That was my goal, to understand.”

She Enjoys Intensive Training

Intense training is no big deal for this Cuban beauty, who admitted to Vogue that she finds joy in doing physical work. As if that wasn't enough, she also enjoys handling firearms and knives.

"I have to prepare for this action film I’m doing with really intense, physical work, training and choreographies. I do it from 9am to 2pm and then I get a break – and then on the weekends I go to the shooting range and I practice shooting with firing arms that I have to use in the film. And some knife training, too. I enjoy it very much."

She Loves Cuban Food

When it comes to what she eats, Ana doesn't count her calories or follow a trendy diet. She enjoys simple meals and loves Cuban food.

"My favorite comfort meal, I would just go for Cuban food. Probably rice and beans, or even, you know, fried egg on top of it or just something simple," she shared with Elle.

According to the American Heart Association, adding beans to your diet can help improve your blood cholesterol. Beans are high in fiber and minerals without the unhealthy fat of animal proteins.

She Is Gentle With Her Skin

Her skin is always radiant and flawless, even with minimal makeup. Speaking to Vogue, Ana shared some of her secrets to getting that healthy glow. According to the actress, sleeping, sunscreen, and feeling good are essential to looking beautiful and fresh.

"Every day when I wake up I’m super sensitive and anything gives me a rash, redness or pimples. I think sleeping is really good in general. And sunscreen is key. [But mostly] I think that beauty is about your emotions. How you’re feeling is what comes through."
