She Buys Her Skincare At Whole Foods

Not everything that Candice owns comes with a designer price tag. "I cleanse, tone, moisturize, and then do an eye cream religiously, twice a day. I use this gentle green tea cleanser that I get from Whole Foods. My serum is Biotherm — they have one called the Phyto Plankton. It takes two weeks to start seeing a difference so I'm putting it to the test," she told Refinery29.

She Values Wellness

The DKNY ambassador is super busy and has two kids to run after, but she makes time for self-care. "The amount of time I have [to dedicate to wellness] has changed," she added. "Now I have a lot less time to focus on myself...[Your metabolism] definitely changes after you have a baby. It’s really impressive. Having a baby is, like, extraterrestrial stuff. I’m amazed by how it bounced back and repaired. Creating a life in your tummy — it’s amazing."

She Makes A Mean Smoothie

Candice knows her smoothies. "My breakfast varies depending on my mood. I do a nice beauty smoothie. It contains coconut oil, flaxseed oil, banana, protein, some kind of antioxidant fruit like blueberries or strawberries, or some nut butter. I discovered it from doing research; I like to be on beauty blogs," she has said, adding:

"I’ve always loved nutrition and because I’ve worked out for so many years, I’ve figured out what’s best for my body and keeping my energy up."

She Loves Eggs

Candice loves protein-packed eggs. "Sometimes I also like to have eggs and toast or make a grilled cheese," she's said.

The Mayo Clinic states: "Most healthy people can eat up to seven eggs a week without increasing their risk of heart disease. Some studies have shown that this level of egg consumption might even help prevent certain types of stroke and a serious eye condition called macular degeneration that can lead to blindness."
