Being Unsure Of Returning To The Superhero Franchise

According to E! News, Brie recently revealed she is unsure of returning to the franchise referring to internet trolls who do not want her to return. A day after attending the convention for her next MCU entry, 2023's The Marvel with Iman Vellani, Brie posted a picture of the cast and director, which she captioned, "Trolls combust."

This referenced the backlash she and Vellani received after her superhero debut was review-bombed after its release. Regardless of Brie being unsure of appearing in Captain Marvel, she will appear in 2025's Avengers: Secret Wars.
