Her schedule is packed, from her wedding in New Orleans to long set days. Despite this, Daddario makes time for the mind-body practices that prepare her for whatever comes next, even if her method is a little unconventional.

Her Secret Weapons To Maintaining Wellness

In this shoot, Alexandra flaunted her toned legs for women's health, revealing her secret weapons for staying sharp: hot yoga and acupuncture. The 36-year-old says the Chinese medicine practice improves her sleep and stress levels, and she's been doing it since she was 23 and began experiencing joint pain and stiffness. "If I do them back-to-back, it's almost like a computer rebooting," Alex told Women's Health Magazine. "I'm obsessed," she confesses. "I've had needles all over my body," she says. Even her perineum, yea, her "taint."

And, more importantly, might we be getting a reboot?

She Works It Out In The Pool Sometimes

Aside from sweating in yoga and next-level acupuncture, Daddario works hard to stay connected to her body in any way she can, which includes swimming in the ocean, as she shares with her Instagram fans from time to time, and hiking. "I've found that my body heals faster and responds better if I'm in tune with myself and can be in nature," she tells Women's Health.

"Yoga is considered one of many types of complementary and integrative medicine approaches. Yoga brings together physical and mental disciplines that may help you achieve peacefulness of body and mind. This can help you relax and manage stress and anxiety," Mayo Clinic says.

Alexandra Indulges In Strength Building Exercises Too!

Alexandra has weekly sessions with celebrity trainer Patrick Murphy, who focuses on a different aspect of her wellness journey: strength building. Daddario began working with Murphy in 2015 for her role in "Baywatch" and has since become a long-term client due to their shared priorities of workout safety and functionality. Though she frequently logs full-body workouts with Murphy, Daddario has two goals: better posture and a bigger butt.

She Eats Right

Alexandra makes an effort to keep things healthy. But that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy some of her favorite foods on occasion. She avoids processed foods whenever possible. That means eating whole foods that are naturally nutrient-dense and don't contain a lot of sugar or unhealthy gunk.
