The White Lotus star learned about acupuncture when she suffered from a frozen shoulder at 23. After regular sessions of acupuncture for three months, her shoulder healed. Since then, it has been an obsession for her. Furthermore, acupuncture aids her sleep and stress levels.

Alexander opened up on her love for acupuncture in a recent WH interview. . The 36-year-old said, "I'm obsessed. I have had needles everywhere, all over my body". Cleveland Clinic recommends acupuncture as a Chinese method that involves the use of steel needles. It prompts the body to release natural chemicals that fight an illness or symptoms, such as pain.

She Engages In Steamy Yoga And Strength Training

 

The TV star started her sweat sessions in 2015, ahead of Baywatch, with a personal trainer, Patrick Murphy. Although she does full-body workouts, her core focus is on strengthening her posture (with exercises like dumbbell rows, dynamic bridges, and reverse flies). Alexander also engages in butt activation exercises for a bigger butt.

These include the clamshells move, the Bulgarian split squats, and the walking lunges. One of the things she enjoys doing is outdoor workouts, like swimming in the ocean and hiking.

She Has A Meal Plan

The True Detective actress revealed that she loves to cook. Alexander takes Cappuccino, fruits like blueberries, egg whites with spinach, and toast for breakfast. Her lunch varies from vegetables, Zucchini, mushrooms, and carrot, which she throws into some olive oil and chicken to stir-fry. While cooking, she avoids using lots of salt in her meals.

Alexandra loves eating pasta for dinner. According to her, pasta is a great meal because you can add anything to make it taste like what you want.
