After much planning, Priyanka Chopra launched her new restaurant in New York, Sona, this summer, and it's finally opened to the public. The actress and her husband, Nick Jonas, joined by some family friends, went there for a post-birthday celebration.

Last week, the duo and their family lodged in Scottsdale National, a Golf Club, to usher in Jonas' 30th birthday before Chopra hosted the Global Citizen Concert in NYC.

Saying Goodbye To The 20s

It was an all-white affair at the Golf Club last week, although Jonas spiced his outfit up by wearing a black and white print. He was the celebrant, so we understand the distinction in the outfit.

However, that didn't stop the festivities, as Chopra mentioned via Instagram. The celebration was an intimate affair with family and friends, and its success left the Indian beauty queen emotional.

She wrote,

"This was a weekend that made my heart so full. It started with wanting to celebrate my husbands 30th but ended up being so much more. All for NJ’s friends and family filled the room with so much love and joy."

And, more importantly, might we be getting a reboot?

Family Night Out In NYC

The happy couple visited Sona for some post-birthday festivities. Chopra wore a black maxi dress with a crisscross back, turtleneck cutout neckline, long sleeves, and a gathered flare skirt. She wore her typically full curly hair straightened and kept her makeup light. Jonas was there to support his wife and co-host the dinner.

Advocating For Displaced Children

World Vision says,

"War impacts children’s access to education, but it also hampers their learning from the earliest stages of life."

As a UNICEF ambassador, Chopra isn't only about the glitz and glam but also a champion advocate of children's rights. She joined fellow ambassadors to talk about the fate of displaced children and how the global community can help.

The actress said,

"It matters which child is from which part of the world and that's.. it shouldn't be. Children who are displaced by war have to have the same rights and the global community needs to make sure of that."

A Power Couple

Chopra and Jonas continued proving to be a Power Couple and showed their talents at the Global Citizens Festival. While Chopra hosted the event, the Jonas Brothers performed a medley of some of their greatest hits.

The actress switched things up by wearing a colorful suit with Nike Airforce 1s while her husband wore a red shirt tucked in pants and black shoes.
