Back On Tour For A New Album

Lovato's latest stop was Los Angeles, and she surprised her fans with an exceptional performance from Ashlee Simpson Ross as they performed LaLa together. The singer shared the special moment on Instagram, showing her leather jumpsuit designed with studs, chains, and rings.

The 29-year-old looks every bit of the modern Rockstar she portrays on tour, from her makeup to her hair and clothes, but she didn't get there overnight. Before releasing this album, Lovato opened up about her identity and mental and physical health.

Overdosing On Naloxone In 2019

Lovato had a series, Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil, on YouTube last year, where she spoke about her health struggles. The singer revealed she suffered three strokes and a heart attack after overdosing on Naloxone.

Although the entertainer has worked towards restoring her health, she still suffered side effects in 2021. Mayo Clinic says the side effects of Naloxone include restlessness, irritability, cramps, nausea, vomiting, increased blood pressure, and nervousness.

Putting It Into The Music

She told CNN,

I was left with brain damage, and I still deal with the effects of that today. I don't drive a car because there are blind spots in my vision. I also for a long time had a really hard time reading.

To manage her mental health, Lovato puts her feelings into her music lyrics. She also keeps physically fit by working out as often as possible. Although she said that was six times daily in 2018, changes in her life changed that routine.

Making Healthy Choices First

In her documentary, she explained that she overdid it by going six out of seven days. So, she slowed down and started doing what was best for her health. Now, it's all about making the right choices and doing the necessary things.

Since she's on tour, her workout includes only circuits that'll keep her fit for her performances, as the shows can get draining and intense.
