Kim Kardashian Denies Promoting Unrealistic Beauty Standards

According to Kim Kardashian, her family is not responsible for promoting unrealistic beauty standards.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality star was asked about this in the reunion special of the show and she confidently denied that she, or any of her family members, were promoting unattainable beauty and body ideals.

Scroll down to see why Kim thinks her family isn't guilty.

Are Those Curves Natural?

Aside from their reality show, which aired for 14 years, Kim Kardashian is also known for her famous curves.

The whole family is blessed with sexy curves, which have been the subject of speculations for over a decade now. Many critics believe that Kim and her sisters had plastic surgery and other unnatural treatments to enhance their figures.

Kim is also known to wear waist trainers and corsets that help her get that unbelievably small waist. Additionally, they have also endorsed controversial "Fit Tea", which is said to suppress the  appetite and detox your body.

Taking Over The Beauty Industry

Another thing that the Kardashians popularized is the heavily contoured and overlined lip look, which became a hit trend with makeup lovers and beauty enthusiasts.

The popularity of their look led them to create their respective beauty brands that quickly took over the beauty industry.

Back in April, Forbes reported that Kim Kardashian West reached billionaire status, largely because of her KKW beauty brand. She is the richest in the family and also the richest in the richest reality star in the world.

'We Work Out'

At the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" Reunion Special, Andy Cohen asked if the family feel a sense of responsibility in promoting "unattainable beauty standards."

Kim confidently answered the question with a clear NO.

"No, I don't. Because I think we get up, we do the work. We work out."

It's true that all of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters work out regularly and constantly post their workout sessions and fitness regimens to their followers. There's no denying that they definitely work hard to maintain their figures.

Just Trying To Help You Be The Best Version Of Yourself

Kendall Jenner also chimed in on the conversation and shared that she thinks the family is just inspiring people to become the best versions of themselves.

"We all really enjoy taking care of ourselves and being healthy, so I think if anything, the only thing we're really trying to represent is just being the most healthy version of yourself," Kendall said.

The family's reality show has wrapped after 20 seasons but they have been hinting at a new shot at Hulu.  The Kardashian saga will continue!
