Why Hollywood Can't Stand Megan Fox

The brunette beauty got her big break in the "Transformers" saga, where she played Mikaela Banes, love interest of Sam Witwicky.

Megan seemed perfect for the role and had chemistry with Shia LaBeouf on and off screen. Surprisingly, though, she was cut off on the third installment and replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The reason for the firing -- Megan compared director Michael Bay to Hitler in an interview.

“He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for.." Megan said.

According to reports, it was actually producer Steven Spielberg who told Bay to fire Fox. "You know the Hitler thing? Steven said, fire her right now" Bay said.

Megan's outspoken voice was one of the major reasons why the public, as well as the media, deemed her "unlikeable".

Being fired from a popular movie franchise and speaking out against big names in the industry like Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg certainly didn't help her case.

"I was rejected because of qualities that are now being praised in other women coming forward. And because of my experience, I feel it’s likely that I will always be just out of the collective understanding. I don’t know if there will ever be a time where I’m considered normal or relatable or likable” Fox said in a new interview with New York Times.

Megan shared that she also chose to kept quiet during the #MeToo movement because she feared she wouldn't be received well by the public.

She also stayed low-key for a couple of years after getting married and having kids.

But now that she has split with ex Brian Austin Green, Megan is enjoying her new life with boyfriend MGK. The two have been living unapologetically and flaunting their romance on Instagram and in public.

Megan Fox is back in the spotlight again and with the public's renewed respect for strong, outspoken women, she has finally broken out of that "unlikeable woman" trap.
