Madison Beer Reveals When She Feels Most Beautiful

Madison got her start by covering songs of other artists on YouTube.

In 2012, she uploaded several videos of herself singing and got spotted by a huge pop artist -- Justin Bieber. She was only 12 years old when her videos went viral.

Bieber, who also got his start on the same platform, signed Madison to his label Island Records. She recorded a couple of singles under the label but her music didn't get a lot of traction with the public.

Madison left the label in 2016 and needed to take a music hiatus for a couple of years.

The falling out with Island Records wasn't easy for Madison. She shared that she felt like a failure and needed some time to get well.

After two years, Madison was once again ready to re-launch her career. In 2018, she released her single "Home With You", which peaked at number 21 on the Billboard chart. She signed with Epic Records and released her debut studio album "Life Support" in February 2021.

Aside from her music career, Madison has also become a popular beauty influencer.

She is the new face of Victoria's Secret's Tease Crème Cloud fragrance.

“Working with Victoria’s Secret on a project such as this is something young Madison would literally die over,” Madison said in an interview.

“I’ve been a fan for years—it’s an iconic brand and I was really inspired by its recommitment to championing women from all walks of life and all body types.”

In the interview, Madison also looked back at her childhood and her earliest memories of beauty.

She shared that her beauty icon is her mother, who she also considers as her biggest supporter. She also said that she feels the most beautiful when she is "at home in a cute but comfy sweat set, just hanging out with friends or family.”

When asked to define what beauty means to her, Madison said:

“Beauty has evolved so much both in my personal experience with it and how society perceives it. To me, it means being authentic and expressing yourself in a way only you know. It’s so inspiring to see people fully embracing themselves, their bodies, and their own individual styles. That, to me, is beauty.”
