Olivia Rodrigo Shares Easy Guide To Flawless Skin

Vogue

Olivia Rodrigo is rising to stardom pretty fast and we can't get enough of her.

In one of the latest Olivia offerings, the "Driver's License" singer teamed up with Vogue to share her skincare and makeup routine.

According to Liv, she's not exactly striving to have perfect skin but she still enjoys taking care of herself. She also shared that she is an introvert and loves her alone time.

“Self-care has become super important to me lately – doing your skin care or taking a shower or whatever – you’re not on your phone, and you’re by yourself, and you can kind of really recharge." Olivia said.

Cleansing

Her skincare routine starts with a mild cleanser. She uses Epionce Milky Lotion Cleanser to wash away dirt and oil.

"A month or so ago, I had the worst case of dermatitis where I just broke out all around my mouth, and it was awful. I think it was like, wearing masks a lot, and also using a bunch of products that irritated my skin. My dermatologist said, 'okay, cut everything out of your skin care routine, just wash your face', and that’s sort of why my skin care routine is so simple. I think less is more with skin care a lot of the time."

Serum

Her next step is to put on drops of The Ordinary serum, which she loves because of its hyaluronic acid and B5 blend.

She prefers putting serum drops directly on her face and not on her hands.

“People always make fun of me for it, but I always go like that and I don’t put it on my hands. I don’t know why – it’s just so much fun to do it like that.”

Facial Massage

After the serum, she moves on with doing a little bit of facial massage using a gua sha. Facial massaging with gua sha can help with lymphatic drainage and make the skin look healthy and younger.

"I kind of started doing this recently this year, and it’s really relaxing. Sometimes I do this also at the end of the day when I’m taking my makeup off.”

Lip Balm

She finishes her effortless skincare routine with a lip scrub and lip balm. Olivia moisturizes her lips with a Burt's Bees lip balm.

“I have the most peely lips for some reason, like my lips aren’t chapped, but they’ll just peel all the time, and so lip scrubs really help."

Olivia also shared that her skincare and makeup philosophy is "less is more". She finishes her regimen with a quick advice -- to have fun with your beauty routine and to do it for your own self-confidence, not for others.
