Kaley Cuoco & Karl Cook Call It Quits 'Amicably'

Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook first met at an equestrian event. While Cuoco dabbles in horses and jump events, Cook is an established equestrian, and their mutual love for the sport and the animals brought them together in 2016.

This was just months after Cuoco had split with her now ex-husband Ryan Sweeting. In September 2016, she began to talk about Cook to the media and how he was perfect for her.

In 2016 itself Cook proposed to her and the proposal was soon made IG official, playing below.

By June 2018, the wedding materialized.

The very in-love couple exchanged their vows in Southern California is a private ceremony with friends and family that included Cuoco's co-stars from The Big Bang Theory.

The couple seemed blissfully happy and have been sharing sweet nothings about each other on their social media profile ever since, although it seems the love has now seeped out through the cracks.

There was some talk about how the enforced proximity between the couple because of the pandemic had strained their relationship, and it seems, all the rumors were true.

The couple released an official statement on Friday, and said, "Despite a deep love and respect for one another, we have realized that our current paths have taken us in opposite directions.".

They continued their statement with, "We have both shared so much of our journey publicly so while we would prefer to keep this aspect of our personal life private, we wanted to be forthcoming in our truth together. There is no anger or animosity, quite the contrary."

And Cuoco filed for divorce this very day.

Strangely enough, the couple recently celebrated their third wedding anniversary and Cuoco captioned the post as, "NY, June 30th, 2016 is the year we met. 2 years to the day before we got married and now 3 years married! Why have you stayed married to me for so long?!"

Well, guess the question has now proven to be a rhetorical one. Even Karl Cook's reply now stands falsified.

He replied to Cuoco's anniversary post with, "I love you so much and I can't wait for a million more years!!"
