New York Fashion Week just ended and we are still reeling from all the fashion looks that made our hearts skip a few beats.

This season is a little bit different since everyone is still dealing with pandemic anxiety. The crowds may be smaller but designers definitely delivered on the runway.

Here are some of the hottest beauty trends that we will be copying for our next fashion night out.

1. Shiny, Wet Look.

Think fresh-out-of-the-shower hair is unattractive? Not anymore. The shiny, wet look is all the rage this season and we just can't get enough of this trend.

Of course, this is not truly fresh-out-of-water hair. This look is achieved with several hair tools, hair mists and hair sprays.

Megan Fox rocked the wet look perfectly at the MTV VMAs and paired it with a super sheer Thiery Mugler dress with bedazzled embellishments. Styled by Maeve Reilly, Megan's wet look and nude dress just about stole the show.

2. Natural, Glowing Skin

This year, it's all about that natural glow!

Makeup loaded with foundation and heavy contouring has been booted. Designers have opted to have their models wear minimal makeup to keep the focus on the outfits.

Sunny, humid makeup that features healthy and natural-looking skin is the moment. This is perfect for an all-year-round look because natural beauty is timeless.

3. Interesting Braids

While most faces were kept clean and natural, hairstyles were nothing short of captivating.

In Christian Siriano's presentation, hairstylist Jawara created the most interesting sculptural braids adorned with a red ribbon.

This look was apparently inspired by Siriano's Italian heritage. The braided hairstyle added a layer of whimsy to Siriano's wonderful creations for fashion week.

4. Subtle Graphic Eyeliner

This is another look that we've been seeing a lot lately. The subtle graphic eyeliner that's done in an unexpected bright pop of color to create a bold look. This is also applied a little higher than the usual eyeliner placement for a more modern finish.

In the Monse Resort show, this beauty trend made an appearance. Styled by Stila cosmetics global beauty director Charlie Riddle, models strutted with fresh faces and graphic eyeliners.

This runway-fresh beauty trend is easily adaptable in your everyday wear.

5. Abstract Nails

Abstract nail art featuring simple, minimalistic designs have also taken over fashion week.

Editorial manicurist Jin Soon Choi, who also owns JINsoon nail lacquer shared a gorgeous modern nail art look used for Peter Do's presentation in NYFW.

These simple modern designs look really easy to do, which makes them effective even off the runway.
