She's Into Vitamin Water

Vanessa gets her hydration and her vitamin perks in one go, this via vitamin water.

"There's nothing worse than taking the time to workout and feeling depleted, like you can't work out to your fullest capacity," she revealed to Delish. "For me, that happens because I'm dehydrated. Propel Vitamin Boost electrolyte water is the perfect answer to that because it has electrolytes but also a splash of vitamins."

She Doesn't Think Fats Are Bad

And she's right. The 33-year-old has revealed: "I need high fats," adding: "If I'm not getting enough, my body holds on to calories. We've been trained to think that fats are bad, but they're so good—a source of energy and sustenance that keeps you going through the day. That's the only way I can not eat carbs."

Cleveland Clinic advises: "Avocados are packed with nutrients, but they’re not exactly low in calories. A 50-gram portion — about a third of a medium-sized avocado — has about 75 calories. An entire large avocado can add upward of 400 calories to your daily diet." Also rich in healthy fats are salmon and nuts including cashews and almonds.

She Loves Handmade Pasta

Vanessa has a bee in her bonnet about "real" food - she's more into hand-crafted foods than frozen pizzas.

"My overall food philosophy is, if it's real, I'll eat it. Many things are processed and contain chemicals and ingredients I can't pronounce. I want real food. If I'm in Italy, and I see them making pasta by hand, or if it grows from the earth, that's real. I stay away from the processed stuff," she has revealed.

She Loves Clothes That Represent Her

Vanessa has collabs with clothing retailer Fabletics. Showing off a bikini from her range recently, Vanessa told fans:

"Mixed with lifestyle and performance pieces, I wanted this collection to be something you can wear out with friends, while working out, sitting poolside, doing your errands and everything in between! Each style, color, fabric, buttons, patches and so on are all hand-picked by me and I hope you love them as much as I do."

She Loves Pilates And SoulCycle

The workout queen loves to switch it up. "Some days when I have the time, I love doing Pilates first and then going over to Soul Cycle. I love a double up!" she has shared. "I always feel so accomplished when I double up. I've been going to this Pilates studio called WundaBar for years and it's just a great deep muscle-training workout. It's not super high intensity but I always feel it the next day."
