"And I was like Oh My God I have a Billboard."

Eva Longoria made her big TV debut on Desperate Housewives in 2004 and has since gone on to become a movie producer, winemaker, and businesswoman, amongst other things. She took a trip down memory lane with her sister Lucky on the latter's show, Made From Scratch.

They reminisced on the first time Longoria saw the Desperate Housewives billboard on Sunset Boulevard. She played Gabrielle Solis on the TV show for eight years and won several awards for her role, including a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Thinking About Her First Big Moment

Reminiscing on her star-making career, Longoria said,

"This was my big moment, my first Desperate Housewives billboard and we were having lunch at Café Med, and this billboard was going up and I think it was Lucky that goes, 'That looks like your eye' and I was like uhh no, and by the time we finished lunch, they'd finished the billboard, and it was... the Desperate Housewives billboard on Sunset Boulevard like the biggest billboard on Sunset Boulevard..."

Supporting Latinx Creatives

It's been ten years since Desperate Housewives ended, but Longoria continues using the influence she gained to improve her community. Last week, she announced a new partnership with TikTok and Macro via her production company, UnbeliEVAble entertainment, to support Latinx Creatives.

Longoria's company issued Grants to these creators after vetting them. The support is,

"to guide them as they take their content on the platform to the next level. We cannot properly tell these stories without our own voices."

Taking It Back To The Beginning

When not being a philanthropist, Longoria serves fashion goals on her Instagram, as seen in her latest post. The actress reminded fans of her modeling roots by striking a pose in the middle of the street.

She wore a black mini sweater dress with long sleeves, then paired it with thigh-high stiletto boots, black sunglasses, and a multicolored shoulder purse.

A Little Glitz And Glam

As she said during fashion week, "A Little glitz and glamour never hurt anyone." Longoria wore a black strapless mini dress with a sweetheart neckline paired with fingerless gloves and strappy black stiletto sandals.

She styled her natural black hair in a loose low bun while her wig lay a few inches away, ready for installment. Longoria's shoes were from Eobuwie, a Polish fashion market which she formed a partnership with recently.
