Nastia Liukin In Bathing Suit Enjoys 'Weekend Getaway'

Nastia Liukin is stunning in pink swimwear as she enjoys a weekend getaway. The Olympic gymnast is a known travel lover, and she was back to her jet-setting in a recent Instagram share. Posting for her 1.1 million followers, the Russian-born star showed off her sizzling abs and tiny waist, flaunting her toned legs and the tan she seems to have year-round. Nastia posed in a pink bikini and a straw hat, telling her fans: "Quick weekend getaway (but staying on brand)."

She Makes Workouts A Daily Thing

Nastia retired aged 22, but now, at 32, she's still keeping fit.

"I always feel better when I get in a workout," she says, "even if it's 30 minutes or 20 minutes of something, every single day," the blonde told Today. "I think the most important thing to know is, you'll never regret a workout when it's over. And it's just hard to tell yourself that before you've done it. But just try to remember how you feel after your workout, and know that when you feel good, you look good, and you have more confidence, and so I think that that's really important," she added.

She Goes Easy On The Weights

Nastia values being light and flexible, which means not doing too much on the weights. "If I do weights, it's probably very light weights, five to ten pounds, no more than that," she continued.

The Mayo Clinic advises to "get at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or an equal combination of moderate and vigorous aerobic activity. The guidelines suggest that you spread out this exercise during the course of a week."

She Eats Amazingly Well

Nastia is a health nut. She told The Cut: "After my workout I’ll have a bigger breakfast, like an omelet with tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and maybe some chicken or something. Making sure to get enough protein in is extremely important for me to this day. It keeps you full longer."

She Bikes And Does Pilates

Nastia loves hiking, biking, boxing, and muscle-building Pilates - the latter is also adored by stars including Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber.

"Do strength training exercises for all major muscle groups at least two times a week," The Mayo Clinic also advises for optimum health.
