Piers Morgan Slammed For 'Tasteless' Larry King Tribute By Twitter

Rather strange for Morgan to put up an anti-Donald Trump post, especially with a photo of the two grinning like loons, but here it is, and this is what Morgan had to say...

"You blew it, Donald. If you’d shown Americans leadership & empathy when it really mattered in the past year, you’d have been re-elected.
Instead, you failed them.
Spectacularly badly.
And now you slink off as a gutless graceless sore loser.
How pathetic.
Shame on you." 

What did Morgan's Instagram followers have to say? One wrote rather succinctly, "Just because he unfollowed you?"

Stunning about-turn, no?

Morgan seems to have shifted loyalties pretty quickly to Joe Biden and wrote, "Congratulations @joebiden - 46th President of the United States. Wonderful pinnacle of a 50-year political career bedeviled by personal tragedy.
A decent, empathetic, intelligent man on a mission to heal America.
Good luck, President Biden."

Wrote one Morgan skeptic, "I feel that statement is standard Morgan just insert different name when suits PR king" while another also echoed something similar, "You change your tune like I change my socks ."

Guess Morgan is now singing to a different tune...

Be it on Instagram or Twitter, this is what Morgan had to say about Larry King, "RIP Larry King, 87. A TV legend who sadly died after contracting covid-19. Larry was a hero of mine until we fell out after I replaced him at CNN & he said my show was ‘like watching your mother-in-law go over a cliff in your new Bentley.’ (He married 8 times so a mother-in-law expert). But he was a brilliant broadcaster & masterful TV interviewer." 

Clearly, King may have been buried, but the hatchet remains above ground so one Instagram user wrote, "Maybe one day you’ll be as good as he was Piers...

What does Twitter feel?

Now Piers may have written a book titled "Wake Up", but he's not all that woke, yet. 

Not only was his tribute taken in bad taste by Instagram and Twitter users, one even went as far as to say, "Not surprised he fell out with you, look at you trying to grab 5 minutes of fame through past association. It's always the way with people like you. Bet you had not talked to him in years. Gawd."

Meanwhile, the picture above also shows the infamous scar that Jeremy Clarkson gave Morgan by punching him in the head four times. Clearly, feuding his Piers Morgan's middle name!
