She Is A Big Fan Of Hot Yoga

Yoga is one of Alexandra's go-to exercises. The Baywatch star has shared some of her favorite yoga moves on her social media account, where she is often fronting her Alo Yoga fits.

When she is in the mood for something more intense, she does hot yoga in her go-to studio, Modo Yoga.

Hot yoga is designed to raise your heart rate and work your muscles. However, it is not for everyone, according to Mayo Clinic. Because of its intense effects on the body, it is not advisable for those who have heat intolerance, heart disease, and problems with dehydration.

She Does Weight Training

To keep her muscles toned, Alexandra does weight training once or twice a week. She has previously shared with Health that preparing her body for her role in Baywatch helped her learn the kinds of exercises she needed.

"I did a lot of hot yoga," she shared in the interview. "I sort of thought that was all I needed. I still do hot yoga, but I felt so much stronger when I incorporated strength training into my routine."

She Does AMRAP

She follows the AMRAP style of workout, where you have to do as many rounds as possible at a given time. Alexandra credits a lot of her workout techniques to trainer Patrick Murphy, who she says she trusts completely.

"Working out with Patrick makes me feel more confident in everyday life. I feel stronger and healthier — even more so than I did in my 20s... I trust him and I will continue my workouts with him through my jobs, starting a family, everything," she told Women's Health.

She Listens To Her Body

While she works hard to maintain her physique, Alexandra also knows the importance of listening to her body's needs. She shared a moment on Instagram when she wasn't feeling too energized so they had to adjust her routine, but still managed to finish her sets!

"Today we took it easy because of how I’m feeling... it’s okay to go to the gym or to a workout class and only do what you can. But just go!"
