She's Okay To Be Vulnerable

Jessie recently opened up on her mental health in a candid Instagram share.

"I want to be open and honest," she told her 4.1 million followers. "I have struggled the last couple of years. It's up-and-down. There have been really beautiful, amazing moments but also some pretty low lows."

"The reason why I want to share this is because I think I got to a place where I was trying to hide my vulnerabilities because if I made everything look great all the time it would hide my internal struggles," the mother of three added.

She Doesn't Obsess About Being Skinny

Jessie has fronted South Beach Diet. That said, she doesn't want weight loss to be the only focus. “I don’t think we should obsess over how skinny we should be because I feel that’s an unhealthy view of how our bodies should be. I think we should focus on feeling strong and healthy and being the best versions of ourselves," she told UsWeekly.

Outlining her weight loss after welcoming her third child, Jessie revealed: "I feel really good where I'm at." She continued:

"My goal was to be able to fit into my clothes before I had the baby. I'm now at 115 and that was my goal … I'm not going to obsess over it, but I'm just gonna maintain where I'm at and just do the best that I can."

She Fuels With Protein And Veggies

The health queen stated: “I never feel deprived on this program and I know I’m fueling my body with tons of good protein and veggies, which has always been key for me,” adding: “I’ve regained my confidence and have the energy I need to maintain this crazy life of mine!”

The Mayo Clinic advises eating "a variety of foods from the major food groups: fruits; vegetables; whole grains; low-fat dairy products and lean protein, including beans and other legumes, nuts and seeds; and healthy fats."

She Makes Workouts A Routine

Jessie avoids the "too lazy to workout" by setting an alarm to remind herself to hit the gym.

"My tip is to set an alarm to remind yourself every day to work out or be active for at least 20 minutes a day. Work out hard for 20 minutes or at least take a walk where you are walking intensely for at least 20 minutes. I know it’s hard but just set your mind to it and carve that time out for yourself. You will feel so much better when you were finished," the country star also revealed.
