She Works Out Regularly

Emily comes with an appetite, but the "Blurred Lines" star knows how to burn it off.

"I'm one of those people who, if I go to the gym by myself, there's a 50/50 chance of me actually working out and really pushing myself, so the class environment works really, really well for me," she told In Style, adding:

“I am also someone who, even in a class, will get chatty and [distracted]. I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone."

She Gets Her Beauty Sleep

The swimwear designer stays busy with her runway gigs, ambassador roles, and raising a son, but shut-eye is important to her.

"For me, the way I sleep afterwards is one of the main reasons to work out. I am always on my phone working and I think that's affected my sleep. I'm also really light-sensitive. When I work out, it's better than taking a melatonin. Because my body has worked hard, my brain finally rests and I think that is so valuable in this day and age — not to sound like an old geezer, but truly I feel that way," Emily has revealed.

She Eats Balanced

Emily will kick off the day with a pastry, but she equally loves salads and fresh dishes.

The Mayo Clinic states that one should include "a variety of foods from the major food groups: fruits; vegetables; whole grains; low-fat dairy products and lean protein, including beans and other legumes, nuts and seeds; and healthy fats."

"Also talk with your doctor about your health risks. For example, your doctor may recommend that you reduce the salt in your diet if you have high blood pressure," the site also adds.

She Can Handle Failure

Emily isn't afraid of a few setbacks and her attitude is positive. "Having my own business and working with a group of women that I love, that are my friends... that has been so enjoyable," she has revealed. "What I like now is that, in my career, things are more in my hands and in my control. Failures feel more like road bumps than huge losses and I feel less impacted by other people saying no."

She's Balanced With Yoga

Emily does like to meditate and do yoga.

The Mayo Clinic lets readers know the benefits of stress-boosting techniques including mindfulness and yoga.

"Indeed, stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. Being able to recognize common stress symptoms can help you manage them. Stress that's left unchecked can contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity and diabetes."
