Aly once took over the timeline with a yellow two-piece bathing suit that flattered her curves. An Instagram photo of Aly wearing the swimwear gave fans an up-close look at the bottom, which had a knot in the center, and the Halterneck bikini. In the image, Aly posed, thrusting one hip forward. Her hair was styled in a loose ponytail, and her skin was as igniting as the yellow outfit.

She Is A Nature Lover

There is no doubt Aly loves every aspect of being athletic, but when she isn't flexing her muscles or showing off her energetic aura, the captain of both the 2012 "Fierce Five '' and 2016 "Final Five'' U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics teams enjoys gardening. In an interview with nymag.com, Aly revealed that she is very passionate about nature. The 28-year-old said she enjoys watching seeds grow and believes it, in a way, teaches patience.

Aly finds gardening fun and relaxing, and she has a small indoor garden with lots of herbs and lettuce. The passion for planting also runs in the family; as Aly said, she and her mother have big gardens where they plant cucumbers. The artistic gymnast never ceases to be amazed by how many cucumbers can come from one seed. After averting, what Aly enjoys the most is making salads and sharing with friends.

She Has A Good Maintenance Culture 

Aly loves being sustainable, and she is open to the different ways to improve her maintenance culture. The athlete has been using reusable bags since she a friend introduced them to her. Aly has confirmed to The Strategist, that she uses bigger reusable bags for leftovers, which are an excellent way to store snacks when traveling.

In addition, she substitutes plastic bags with reusable packs, which also come in handy for carrying makeup. Aly uses these bags to pack almost anything, and she believes these reusables are an easy way for people to start being sustainable.

She Follows A Plant-Based Diet

Fans seeking to be as healthy and agile as Aly will probably need to quit eating anything but plants. Once speaking with eatingwell.com, the six-times Olympic medalist shared the secret to being healthy, which is all about eating plants. Aly transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle a few years ago after watching documentaries about how animals are treated. Since learning that eating less meat is good for the environment, her typical day starts with dairy-free yogurt with fresh blueberries.

She adds fresh fruit to her smoothies, which she drinks after working out, and her go-to smoothie formula is a combination of blueberries. 

Occasionally, Aly adds some lettuce, spinach, or herbs to her smoothie. The athlete's plant-based diet is not only sumptuous but healthy, as Mayo Clinic confirmed,

"A plant-based diet, which emphasizes fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, legumes and nuts, is rich in fiber, vitamins and other nutrients. And people who don't eat meat — vegetarians — generally eat fewer calories and less fat, weigh less, and have a lower risk of heart disease than nonvegetarians do."

She Never Relents With Exercises 

Another critical element to Aly's healthy lifestyle is exercise. She remains active through a jumble of activities that involve long walks with her dog or Pilates videos in her living room. According to Eating Well, although Aly believes in efficient workouts, she is also particular about paying attention to her body. She once confirmed that she practices guided meditation as it has been helpful when it comes to understanding her body.
