Gymnast Aly Raisman Disappears Into A Hole In Yoga Pants

Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is literally vanishing into a hole while burning calories. The 26-year-old former athlete today updated her Instagram with something that hasn't been shared in a while. Aly, who has made 2021 headlines for cozying up to her blue-eyed dog Mylo more than any body show-offs, broke the mold on Tuesday with a killer outdoor workout. The 2012 "Fierce Five" and 2016 "Final Five" captain, masked and seemingly also shouting COVID, played a few tricks while getting stronger. Check it out below.

Here One Minute, Gone The Next

Scroll for the action, and expect a video. Aly, followed by 2.1 million, shared a simple workout today, one that could arguably be carried out by your average, hopefully not-too-unfit American.

The video showed Aly energetically squatting on outdoor surfaces and backed by simple brick, but there was a little something uneven going on. Raisman, who wore skin-tight black yoga pants, plus a loose and super-warm jacket, was seen lowering herself below ground level. There was definitely a hole down there.

Why Was ‘Scream Queens’ Cancelled?

And, more importantly, might we be getting a reboot?

With hair blowing in the wind and one heck of a stamina showoff, Aly took to her caption to call it a "quick leg workout."

"Some of my favorite leg exercises... I did some of these things when I was training," she began, adding: "(like the box jumps, except the box jumps were done on a much higher block & I would do a front tuck off or a back tuck off & I would try to stick the landings. It really helped with sticking landings on floor & beam dismounts)."

Aly, who admitted she sometimes still "pretends" she's "trying" to stick the landing when she lands a box jump, is a creature of habit. But don't think her IG is only gymnast level.

"Workouts aren’t one size fits all. Do what ever feels right for you & take it one day at a time."

The video comes as Aly makes headlines for looking back on harder days, ones when depression meant she could barely walk. The star now touts Pilates as the magic solution, although there's no denying the hard work that went in.

Heart-Breaking Reveal

On December 30 of last year, Aly updated with a raw and headline-making post showing her both stretching and, in a lengthy caption, visit darker days gone by.

"After 2016, some days I could barely walk up the stairs without my legs feeling fatigued & cramping (despite not working out). I often couldn’t stand up in the shower because my legs felt so weak," she told fans, then stating that gentle exercise Pilates, adored by ballerinas as well as gymnasts, had gotten her out of it.
