Halsey Gives Birth To First Child

In January, Halsey posted a series of topless photos to her Instagram account, showing off her baby bump. She captioned the photo “surprise!” along with an emoji of a baby bottle and a rainbow.

Although she had been linked to both “American Horror Story” actor Evan Peters and her ex, Yungblud, in 2020, fans deduced that Aydin was the father after the Turkish screenwriter reposted her pregnancy photoshoot to his Instagram story, along with two red heart emojis.

“Heart so full, I love you sweetness,” he commented on the post.

Halsey replied, "I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!"

In 2016, Halsey revealed that she suffered a miscarriage while on tour when she was only 21-years-old.

“I beat myself up for it,” she said at the time. “I think that the reason it happened is just the lifestyle I was living. I wasn’t drinking. I wasn’t doing drugs. I was f–king overworked – in the hospital every couple of weeks because I was dehydrated, needing bags of IVs brought to my greenroom. I was anemic, I was fainting. My body just broke the f–k down.”

It’s unclear how long the “Bad at Love” singer and her new beau have been dating, but they did receive matching tattoos of the word “Seeds” together back in June 2020. Aydin placed his on the top of his foot, while Halsey put hers near her heel.

"The judginess started from the beginning," they recently shared. "Alev and I have been really good friends for four years. And when the stars aligned, our relationship became romantic and it was pretty evident that he and I were both like, 'Oh, my gosh! You're the person I’m supposed to start a family with.' A lot of people had opinions about that."

In a sweet Instagram snap of the couple and their newborn child, Halsey wrote, “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.” She ended the post with the date “7/14/2021,” indicating their child was born just a few days prior to the announcement.

The pair did not disclose the gender of the child. Halsey recently admitted that pregnancy has changed her perception of gender, writing, “I’ve been thinking lots about my body. It’s strange to watch yourself change so quickly.”

“I thought pregnancy would give me very strong, binary feelings about ‘womanhood’ but truly it has leveled my perception of gender entirely,” she added. “My sensitivity to my body has made me hyper aware of my humanness and that’s all. Doing a remarkable thing.”
