She Has An Intense Workout Routine

Kate likes to do intense workout sessions and her dedication to fitness shows. According to WH, she exercises at least six mornings a week. She prefers to do her workouts in the morning, after eating a light breakfast. Her routine includes a full-body workout, cardio intervals, and weight training.

"Hardcore workouts have really made a big difference in my life. I have a lot of internal energy, and intense exercise helps me channel that energy. I find balance by doing a workout that makes me pour sweat. I never was that girl before, but I am now," she told Shape.

She Doesn't Drink Alcohol

Alcohol and caffeine are not part of her diet. She revealed in an interview back in 2019 that she doesn't drink alcohol because she thinks her body is too sensitive and she feels its effects very quickly.

According to studies, the extra calories in alcoholic drinks can cause unwanted weight gain and also increases the risk of getting high blood pressure. Ditching alcohol can dramatically boost your mood and overall health.

She Eats A Healthy Diet

When it comes to diet, Kate also doesn't play around. She used to be a vegetarian but found out that a no-meat program didn't work out for her because she lacked energy.

Her trainer advised her to eat some protein, so she added chicken, fish, and eggs to her diet. Additionally, she eats a lot of vegetables like brussels sprouts and broccoli to keep her body nourished.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Another Beckinsale secret to ageless beauty? A simple but effective skincare regimen.

Kate admitted that she didn't start skincare until she was in her late thirties but good genes from her mom certainly helped a lot. She also doesn't spend a lot of time under the sun and always wears sunscreen for protection.

For skincare products, Kate says she likes those that make her skin feel better, naming retinol as one of her go-to ingredients.

To make sure her skin is always clean, refreshed, and hydrated, Kate also takes a bath every day. It's the most important thing in her self-care routine, she explained.

"I literally cannot transition from day to night unless I have submerged myself in water."
