To keep her physique fit and strong, Kristin has developed a fitness routine that works for her body. She dished to First Women about what exercises she has been doing lately.

"Recently, I have been trying to get back to getting 10,000 steps a day and since my weak point is my core, I'm working more on literally lying down and engaging my core because I have a bad neck. Sit-ups trigger my neck, so I lie on my back and contract my abs for 10 seconds at a time."

She Takes Nature Walks

Walking is one of Kristin's favorite stress-busting activities. She shared in the interview that her boyfriend often motivates her to take a 10-minute walk outdoors.

"Just being in nature, taking a real deep breath, and noticing things that I didn't notice before getting back on the phone and getting back into rehearsal has changed my life."

Something as simple as walking can help you live a healthier life, says Mayo Clinic. The faster and the more frequent you walk, the greater the benefits for your body. Experts advise doing at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week.

She Watches What She Eats

Although she doesn't follow a strict diet, Kristin is mindful of what she consumes. According to the award-winning star, she wants to ensure that she can still enjoy life as she ages.

"I was pretty late to the party in realizing that you can't put garbage in your body and expect it to run like a Ferrari," she told ET. "When I hit 40, it really became more about how I feel than how I look. When I'm 60, I want to feel 50. I want to be able to enjoy life."

She Appreciates Slow Living

Slowing down has done wonders for her mental well-being. As she told Woman's Day, quarantine has made her appreciate slow living.

"I know it sounds so simple, but looking at plants blooming, and taking a walk, and seeing a family across the street from you — I'm not an outdoorsy type of girl, but I think that's how God has talked to me."
